Risk Disclosure
Trading virtual digital assets such as USDT carries risk. Please read this disclosure before placing an order on OniPay.
1. OniPay Is Not a Bank
OniPay is not a bank, and USDT balances shown in your account are entries on an internal ledger, not insured deposits. Funds are not covered by any deposit insurance scheme.
2. Price & Market Risk
The rate at which USDT is bought or sold can move between the time you view a quote and the time your order settles. Stablecoins are generally designed to track a reference currency but are not guaranteed to maintain a fixed value at all times.
3. Settlement & Operational Risk
Order settlement depends on manual or semi-automated verification of payments and transfers, and can be delayed by factors outside OniPay's control, including banking-network delays and blockchain network congestion.
4. Regulatory Risk
Laws and regulations governing virtual digital assets are evolving and vary by jurisdiction. OniPay is presented here for demonstration/illustrative purposes and is not currently registered with the Financial Intelligence Unit – India (FIU-IND) or any other financial regulator. Regulatory changes could affect your ability to access or use the platform, and you are responsible for understanding the rules that apply to you in your own jurisdiction.
5. Irreversibility
Blockchain transfers are generally irreversible once confirmed. Sending USDT to an incorrect address, or providing incorrect payout details, may result in permanent loss of funds that OniPay cannot recover.
This page is a general template and does not constitute legal or financial advice. Before OniPay handles real funds, this disclosure should be drafted and reviewed by a lawyer familiar with virtual digital asset regulation in your jurisdiction.
